Roadtrip!!!!

My lovely husband and his co-workers decided to do something big on Friday. Of course, they always plan these things without informing their wives first....it's become quite the talk among the Dome Wives :)

I get a call at 10 am on Friday from my husband informing me that he is coming home early. Of course, my heart drops, thinking he got hurt at work (because why else would your husband be coming home early from a construction site?!) I asked him why, and he proceeded to tell me that he and some co-workers decided they wanted to go to the BYU v TCU game in Arlington that evening - an 8 hour drive, mind you - and I "don't have to come. Cristy needs someone to stay home with her and watch the kids." 

"EXCUSE ME?!" 

Needless to say, I came along - and Cristy did too (luckily finding a babysitter!) 

8 hours driving there wasn't so bad. The stadium was HUGE and the game was fun. We sat in some GREAT seats right on the 50 yard line! 

And that tv screen is HUGE!!!!!!!

Dallas wasn't the happiest with the outcome of them game- neither was Dustin. They both decided it wasn't worth the drive to see BYU hand it over like that to TCU. 

Great. An 8 hour drive and it wasn't worth it. 

They got over it though and were glad they went.

But then instead of getting a hotel that night, we drove the 8 hours straight back home, arriving about 7:30 am back in Gonzales. The rest of the weekend? Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. 

It was definitely a fun trip though! :)
